The STEAM Series transforms outdoor nature trails into interactive living laboratories. Instead of passive walking tours or theoretical classroom lessons, students directly apply science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through guided species observations, hands-on seed crafting, and interactive team challenges.
The programme offers tailored tracks for primary schools (Junior Explorers) and secondary or high school students (Young Pioneers). Modules, pacing, and learning depth are calibrated specifically to match students' grade levels and developmental capabilities.
Schools can choose between three flexible engagement tiers: The Explorer (a focused 4-hour half-day session), The Expedition (a full 8-hour single-day journey), or The Immersive (a comprehensive 2-day residential camp featuring night walks and group presentations).
Students use the BioScape mobile app as a digital field tool to navigate trail waypoints, identify local plants and trees using the AI Species Lens, solve team-based BioQuest missions, and automatically log their discoveries into personal digital journals.
Yes. All activities are designed with safety as the primary priority. Trails follow well-maintained, flat resort paths and secure landscaped grounds without steep climbs, deep ravines, or hazardous terrain. Activities are closely supervised by trained on-site naturalists and safety coordinators.
No individual device is required. Students are organized into small collaborative squads where devices can be shared, or resort-provided tablets can be used for team navigation, app quests, and species scanning.
Yes. The learning modules complement key environmental science, biology, and geography learning outcomes found in national and international frameworks (such as KSSR and IGCSE), covering topics like plant adaptations, microclimates, biodiversity, and ecosystem conservation.
